Children learn through curiosity, creativity and relationships

We believe children learn best when their education is self-directed and supported by strong relationships with caregivers. That is the heart of the Reggio Emilia approach, and it shapes everything here. Each of our four classes has two core teachers, with additional staff assisting during transitions. Our license allows us to serve children ages 24 months through pre-kindergarten.

In the rooms, that belief looks like process art, hands-on learning and long stretches outdoors. We consider our playgrounds an extension of the classroom. Children engage all their senses, follow their questions, and learn about the creatures around them. Educators stay close, not to direct, but to notice and support.

Teachers follow the child rather than a script. If a group is absorbed in a project, that work continues. If a child needs a quiet moment, that is respected. Small groups and close attention make this possible.

Rooms are set up so children can reach materials, choose work, and return to it later. The day is paced with unhurried blocks, not rushed transitions. We spend four to five hours outside per day.
